AEC January Staff of the Month:
Jackie Pinn Ms. Pinn has been selected as our Staff Member of the Month, a recognition that reflects her dedication and positive influence on our school community. As the leader of our middle school program for 6th and 7th graders, Ms. Pinn consistently brings a calm demeanor and a steady, encouraging presence that helps students feel supported and motivated. One of her notable contributions this year has been her leadership in establishing a robust and engaging Black History Month, filled with meaningful activities that enriched our students’ learning and cultural awareness. Ms. Pinn is also eager to continue growing professionally and is always seeking new ways to support student success. Her commitment to learning, leadership, and student-centered growth makes her a tremendous asset to our school.
AEC January Student of the Month:
Shawn Nuckles Shawn Nuckles has been selected as our Student of the Month, an honor that reflects his leadership, positivity, and commitment to the AEC community. Shawn is a senior at AEC and proudly serves as a student ambassador, representing our school with professionalism and pride. When he completes his coursework for the day, Shawn generously volunteers his time as an office and teacher assistant, offering support wherever it is needed. He is always willing to help staff with school projects and tasks, and his reliability makes a meaningful difference in our daily operations. Shawn also plays an important role in welcoming new students, often helping them feel comfortable and acclimated to our school environment. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to serve others make him an outstanding role model and a valued member of the AEC community.
